Your computer has been identified as potentially sharing out unlicensed copyrighted materials, a violation of College policy and various laws.
To restore your access, you must:
- Remove any materials on your system which you do not legally own a license for (movies, music, television episodes).
- Uninstall any sharing software (BitTorrent, uTorrent, any Torrent software)
- AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF NO TORRENT ACTIVITY YOUR ACCESS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RESTORED.
Copyright owners have been actively searching for illegal file sharers, and have made expensive settlement offers to students on campus this semester. You do not want to get caught.
