Job Description
The Department of Theatre & Dance is hiring Scene Shop Assistants for the 2023-2024 academic year. This is an opportunity to be trained to use many of the tools in the scene shop, learn about stage lighting and sound and get to know theater opertations. Duties vary but may include basic carpentry, scenic painting, and physical labor. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary, although students with a history in construction, theatre tech, video/projection systems, or live sound reinforcement are strongly encouraged to apply. Hours are flexible around each student's availability and interests. Skill and safety training will be provided.
