Goodtime Marching Band

The Goodtime Marching Band (GTMB) is one of the most visible performing ensembles on campus. Our performances consist of a tailgate concert, playing popular music in the stands, and pregame and halftime shows. The GTMB is one of the few marching bands in the Patriot League and this enables us to create a unique game day atmosphere and fan experience at historic Fitton Field for our Division I football team. Members of the GTMB comprise students from a variety of majors at Holy Cross and from other Worcester area college campuses. Band camp begins the week before classes start. It is a great opportunity to make new friends at the beginning of the semester. The GTMB rehearses twice a week during the fall semester, and every Saturday morning before a game. The Goodtime Marching Band strives to promote a culture of excellence in all its activities. As the 2016 winner of The Reverend Anthony E. Ciampi, S.J. Award, this commitment has been notably recognized by the College. With a legacy that spans more than a century of performances, the GTMB is considered an integral part of campus culture, student life, and Crusader spirit.
