¡Hola, hola!
My name is Caterina, I’m 26 years old and I will be one of your Spanish FLAs for
the 2022/23 academic year. I’m from Lorca, a city also known as the city of the
Sun, in the Region of Murcia (Spain). I studied Modern Languages and Literature
in the University of Granada. During my second year of my degree, I took a subject
called ELE and I was completely captivated by it when I realized how Spanish and
the languages I was studying at the university contrasted. This was my motivation
to study a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and devote
myself to such a beautiful job. I’ve been teaching Spanish for 2 years in a school
and due to this I’ve been able to meet many people who have opened my world to
new languages and cultures, and now I’m glad to share my knowledge and
continue learning with all of you.
Music is another thing that I love. I received piano and singing lessons when I was
younger and I’m always listening to music all the time, I hope I can encourage you
all to sing in Spanish!
I’m a cheerful person, I love meeting new people, traveling, reading, watching
movies and spending time with my family and friends.
I'm sure this year is going to be great and we will share great memories together. I
am looking forward to meeting all of you!
