Spanish FLA
Biography
Hello! My name is Beatriz, and I will be one of your Spanish FLAs this upcoming academic year. I’m 23 years old and although I come from the University of A Coruña, I was actually born in Pontevedra, a beautiful town you’re going to hear a lot about.
After studying Translation and Interpreting, I decided to follow this path because I love not only languages, but also cultures. So, if you want to know more about Pontevedra, A Coruña, or even Madrid (where I studied my degree), don’t hesitate to come talk to me. I have never lived abroad, but I love travelling and I know different places I’d love to talk to you about. Besides, I also love reading, going to the cinema, doing sports or cooking, so maybe someday we can do some movie night or I could even cook you a Spanish tortilla!
I’m so excited about the opportunity to share my love for cultures and languages with you as an FLA at the College of the Holy Cross, and I’m looking forward to meeting all of you all in class soon!
