Monitoring the COVID-19 Situation
All orientation programs are transitioning to virtual opportunities. Learn more about each program below.
The orientation programs at Holy Cross ensure the start of your college career is a successful one.
The first few weeks of college are exciting, joyous and memorable — but they also have the potential to be stressful. The Office of Student Involvement assists incoming students with their transition to college life at Holy Cross through a series of nationally recognized orientation programs.
Over the course of the programs, you’ll experience the residential and academic environment on campus, gain a greater appreciation for the Jesuit, Catholic mission of the College, learn about educational opportunities and responsibilities, and begin to build friendships with your classmates.
All our orientations involve the collaboration of student leaders, faculty and staff members, who provide authentic insight into what you should expect of your Holy Cross experience.

At Holy Cross we recognize the significance of the transition to College and strive to provide students and parents support during this transition. Although we cannot hold our traditional in-person program, we are moving Gateways Summer Orientation to virtual. This program will continue to offer families support through their transition and help students make connections to classmates, student leaders, faculty and staff. We are excited to accompany you on this next step of becoming a Crusader! This orientation experience will consist of a series of five modules titled “Holy Cross 101” which will help you explore what it means to take part in the life and mission of the College of the Holy Cross.
Once registration is complete, participants will receive an email with their unique program access. Whenever accessing the program modules use that provided link.
