Melissa Battino now serves as an in-house attorney for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers in New York City; she writes that, in her spare time, she performs with the Blue Hill Troupe, a not-for-profit theatre group in New York City. Francine Gardikas and Patrick E. Sheehan announce the birth of their son, Andrew Patrick, on June 18. The Nov. 10 edition of the Nantucket, Mass., newspaper, Inquirer and Mirror, included a profile of Jessie M. Glidden, titled "Jessie Glidden carries on as third generation in family law practice." Glidden, who practices law on Nantucket with her father and grandfather, specializes in estate planning and real estate law. Heather (Pascuiti) Grondin and her husband, Pete, announce the birth of their son, Jack, on Sept. 22, 2004. Pamela (Piretti) Higgins and her husband, Tim, announce the birth of their daughter, Caroline Janet, on Jan. 20, 2005. Julie-Ann (Green) Mack recently opened her own dance studio, Julie's Studio of Dance at the Joppa, in East Bridgewater, Mass.—with classes for toddlers through adults. Laura Beffie McLarnon and her husband, Jay '93, announce the birth of their son, Henry James, on Aug. 22. Gina M. Miele, who is now an assistant professor of Italian at Montclair (N.J.) State University, continues to serve there as executive director of the Coccia Institute for the Italian Experience in America. John E. Miles and his wife, Lori, announce the birth of their son, Emmet Jay, on Oct. 3. Miles is in his final year at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Christian A. Perrotta and his wife, Jennifer '97, announce the birth of their son, Christian A. Jr., on May 26. Kerry A. Pilek and Michael M. DeSanti, D.D.S., announce the birth of their son, Jack Michael, on Dec. 12, 2004. Claire (Dumouchel) Shield and her husband, Dan, announce the birth of their daughter, Chloe Isabella, on July 17. Jennifer Conroy Steichen, M.D., and her husband, Justan, announce the birth of their daughter, Cora Suzanne, on June 19. Steichen is in the final year of her internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. David J. Crane, M.D., who received her medical degree from SUNY-Stony Brook last May, is currently pursuing her residency in family medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colo. Christopher A. Crean, M.D., is completing his residency in emergency medicine in Charlotte, N.C. Theresa Amalfitano Crean works as a sign language interpreter in Charlotte, N.C. Jennifer (Ferron) Doak and her husband, Brian, announce the birth of their son, Collin Robert, on Nov. 6, 2004. Melissa (Hampton) and Timothy W. Dooley announce the birth of their son, Sean Christopher, on Sept. 14. After receiving his degree last spring from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business in Durham, N.C., Bryan F. Durand accepted a position with Thompson, Siegel and Walmsley, an investment management firm in Richmond, Va. Jill (St. Germain) Fazekas and her husband, Mike, announce the birth of their son, Benjamin David, on July 10. Fazekas is a speech language pathologist for Connecticut's Birth to Three program. Julie A. Mills, who works at a market research company in Fairfield, Conn., is the president of the Great Lakes chapter of the Marketing Research Association; she is also taking classes part time at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Janis DiLoreto Noble, who received her degree from the Suffolk University Law School in Boston in January 2005, writes that she serves as an assistant attorney general in the Office of Massachusetts Attorney General Tom Reilly. Jennifer (Pavlik) Perrotta and her husband, Christian '96, announce the birth of their son, Christian A. Jr., on May 26. Christine (Atwood) Pomer and her husband, David, announce the birth of their twins, Michael John and Matthew Atwood, on Dec. 8. Colleen (Smith) Sheehy is an assistant vice president at Lehman Brothers Inc. in New York City. Alison (Hawkins) Yez, who received her master of science in nursing degree last May from the Yale University School of Nursing, New Haven, Conn., writes that she currently serves as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a pediatric practice owned by the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Arnedt currently works as a clinical audiologist in the University of Michigan cochlear implant program. Eleanor A. Bueno, D.O., writes that she received her degree last June from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. Theresa E. Hannon, who received her Ph.D. in chemistry from Stanford (Calif.) University in the spring of 2005, accepted a position teaching science at Archbishop Mitty High School, San Jose, Calif., effective this past August. Jonathan B. Kerr and his wife, Jennifer, announce the birth of their daughter, Keeley Nicole, on June 13. Kerr is the owner of a recruiting firm in San Diego. Christine M. (DeRoche) Lord and her husband, Derek, announce the birth of their daughter, Danielle Nicole, on Jan. 3. Lord continues to teach Spanish at Dracut (Mass.) High School. James T. "Jamie" McPhee and his wife, Erika, announce the birth of their son, Aidan Sawyer, on June 14. Amy Spada Michel writes that she completed an internship with the French "Caisse Nationale des Allocations Familiales" in Paris and is finishing a postgraduate degree in European relations at the Institut Catholique de Paris. The January edition of the monthly newspaper Newington(Conn.) Life included a story about Elena M. Araoz in its "Neighbors" column, titled "Elena Araoz travels the world for her art"; the article describes her career in theatre, including a recent trip to China to serve as stage director for a new, all-English language play, titled The Power. Michael A. Pasqua and his wife, Jessica, announce the birth of their son, Daniel Paul, on June 16. Stephanie Lewis Weinfurt and her husband, Jeff, announce the birth of their son, Matthew Robert, on July 11.

Elizabeth S. Burke writes that, after completing a three-year graduate program last May at Yale University, New Haven, Conn., to become a pediatric nurse practitioner, she relocated to join a pediatric primary care practice in Norwich, Conn. Kara Lamb Cunha is an attorney with the Dennis, Mass., law firm of Zisson and Veara. Brooke M. Dusoe writes that, after working for Nautica Enterprises in New York City and coaching field hockey for three years at Bentley College, Waltham, Mass., she is now pursuing her M.B.A. at Boston College. Bagdis has qualified as a "leading financial professional" for her dedicated service to meeting the needs of her clients; Bagdis is affiliated with the AspenCross Financial Group in Westborough, Mass.—an insurance and investment marketing organization of JHFN. Brian A. Barish is pursuing his second year at the University of Miami School of Law and completing the Guardian Ad Litem program at the Child and Youth Law Clinic. Following the completion of her volunteer year last August as a foster parent and legal guardian of abused and neglected children—ages birth to six—with Casa de Esperanza in Houston, Melanie C. Bartkiewicz accepted a caseworker position with the agency. Omar L. Douglass is attending the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Ga. Caitlin A. Farrell is in her first year of medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. Peter G. Galalis, who received his master of arts in teaching degree from Boston University last May, is an English teacher at Wayland (Mass.) High School. Melissa A. Ivers is attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. Beth M. Jenusaitis works for Odyssey Research, Minot, N.D., conducting cardiac clinical trials. Michael S. Fowler is currently studying European-style diplomacy at the University of Vienna, through a Fulbright grant; she is also serving as an English-speaking assistant at a local high school. Following graduation, Elizabeth L. Frisoli went to Australia to play for the Glenelg Lacrosse Club in Adelaide. The Aug. 18 edition of the Winchester(Mass.) Star newspaper included an article about Frisoli and her athletic achievements, titled "Her career continues Down Under"; she had played lacrosse at both Holy Cross and her alma mater Winchester High School. John B. "Jack" Gould is working in the underwriting department of the Lexington Insurance Company in Boston. Vanessa M. Jones writes that she is teaching third and fourth grade special education in New York City and pursuing her master of science degree in urban education. Ryan W. Keating is pursuing his master's degree in modern Irish history at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Kara A Livingston is working at the Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Conn., doing research through the department of microbial disease epidemiology. JoAnna Lou writes that she is working part time at Reader's Digest while pursuing her master's degree in magazine journalism full time at New York University. The Oct. 31 New York Times article, "With a Promise to Keep and Yards to Go, Barber Carries On," describes Giants' running back Tiki Barber giving his touchdown ball to Timothy W. McDonnell at the end of the team's game the previous day against the Washington Redskins. Grandson of Giants' patriarch Wellington Mara who had died Oct. 25, McDonnell started with the team in 1991 as a ball boy at training camp and began working Barber's locker when he joined the Giants in 1997. McDonnell currently serves as a graduate assistant coach for head football coach, Charlie Weis, at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Laura E. McGregor writes that she is teaching high school biology and chemistry in Savannah, Ga. Michael P. McNichols is an institutional equities analyst on the trading floor at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc., in New York City. David G. Mitchell works as an internal sales consultant for Alliance Bernstein Research Investment and Management, out of Secaucus, N.J. Elizabeth C. O'Hare, who is in the JVC, works in Raleigh, N.C., as a mentor advocate at PLM Families Together—an organization that provides transitional housing for homeless families. Mary C. Patterson is currently in the JVC, working with adults with developmental disabilities in Juneau, Alaska. Alisson O. Pouille is attending William & Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, Va. John M. Swillo is pursuing her master's degree in counseling for student personnel administration in higher education at Springfield (Mass.) College and working as a graduate assistant in Student Activities. Kathryn L. "Kate" Thornton works at Fairchild Publications in New York City as a fashion coordinator. Jonas R. Tomiuck is currently working as operations manager for his family's business, Welland Lumber & Builders Supplies, in Welland, Ontario, Canada. Matthew D. Tully currently works in the Office of Congressional and Public Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. Mark S. Umphrey II works at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston as a research technician in the radiation oncology department and, also, volunteers in the cancer patient resource center. Lindsey M. Veautour works for Readak Educational Services as a traveling teacher. Jennifer A. Warren is currently a special education teacher for second and third graders at New Orleans West (NOW) College Prep KIPP Academy, a school in Houston for New Orleans students displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The Dec. 4 edition of the Washington, D.C., newspaper The Examiner included an article about Warren's work at the school, titled "Fairfax native offers aid, hope to Katrina victims"; the Nov. 22 edition of the Northern Virginia weekly newspaper Springfield Times also featured a story about her efforts, titled "Lightening Katrina's load." Tessa J. Wiegele is the marketing communications assistant for the Salmon Family of Services in Westborough, Mass. Lauren J. Woessner is in the JVC, working as a patients' rights advocate at the Mental Health Advocacy Project in San Jose, Calif.
