Commencement at Holy Cross is a momentous occasion for our graduates, their families and friends. It is a time to recognize the dedication and achievements of our graduating seniors before their professors and mentors. We aim to give them a fitting and memorable tribute as we officially welcome them into the Holy Cross alumni family.
Throughout its history, Holy Cross has traditionally presented honorary degrees at Commencement Exercises. This honor is reserved for distinguished individuals who reflect the values of Mission Statement, who have achieved notable accomplishments in their life’s work or service, and who — in turn — bring honor to the College by their presence on campus. One of these degree recipients typically delivers the principal address to the graduating seniors.
Holy Cross is asking your help in identifying exemplary individuals to participate in our Commencement Exercises. We seek men and women who — through public service, scholarship, scientific discovery, technological advancement, the arts, religious life, business, philanthropy, and other fields — have made profound contributions to our society and our world.
