College Marketing and Communications will create and distribute a press release for every 2020 graduate to distribute to your hometown news outlets, high school and local elected officials. These stories will be also posted to the Holy Cross page on Merit, a platform that provides the College with a new way to share your successes. Learn more.
This news release will be submitted automatically for every graduating senior and will include the student's name, hometown, undergraduate degree and honors, as well as information about this year's celebration for seniors. You will receive an email when your story is published, which will make it easy to share the good news with your friends and family on social media.
Please note that the decision to publish these notices or not in your local media rests with individual editors at newspapers and websites. Large metropolitan newspapers which cover areas with thousands of college graduates are not likely to publish them.
