Summer Housing

Summer housing is available to current Holy Cross students only.

 

Move-in for Summer Housing is 9:30AM-4PM on Sunday, June 2nd. Students arriving after 4PM on June 2nd will need to contact the Summer RA staff by calling the phone number posted at the entrance of the residence hall. Students arriving after Sunday, June 2nd should contact summer staff to coordinate their check-in by e-mailing summerhousing@holycross.edu

 

Summer Housing closing is Sunday, July 28th. Students must vacate the summer residence hall by 5:00pm on Sunday, July 28th.

Summer Housing Amenities

Summer residents will be housed in the Williams Hall apartments. Each apartment has 2 double bedrooms, central A/C, a furnished living room, a full bathroom, and a full kitchen. Students may request up to 3 roommates but are not required to complete any roommate requests. Students who do not submit roommate requests will be assigned roommates.

Summer Housing Rates

Students may select one of the housing periods listed below based on their arrival and departure dates. Please plan your arrival and departure accordingly, requests to arrive or depart outside of the dates listed will not be considered. Students will be billed for housing based on their selected housing period. If students move in later than indicated, or move out earlier than indicated, they are responsible for the housing charges for the entire summer term they selected.

NOTE: Students participating in the summer research program will NOT be billed for housing during the period when they are participating in research.

EXTENDED SUMMER HOUSING

Requests for extended summer housing, which allows students to remain in on-campus housing after July 28th until August 22nd, will be approved on a case by case basis. Space is very limited. The fee for extended summer housing is $500 regardless of students’ departure date.

Students approved for extended summer housing accommodations are required to vacate Williams Hall no later than 5:00PM on Sunday, July 28th to relocate to another building on-campus - there will be no exceptions for any reason. Residence Life & Housing will designate the building and roommate assignments for extended summer housing. There will be no room changes during this time. The designated extended summer housing building is typically a traditional corridor-style residence hall with common bathrooms and no air conditioning. Storage of items in Williams or elsewhere on-campus during this time is not available.

Billing Schedule

Students are responsible for paying the full balance of the summer housing bill by August 1st. Students working on campus may choose to authorize a payroll deduction to pay for summer housing directly through a weekly deduction from the paycheck each pay period. The payroll deduction authorization may be completed after submitting a Summer Services application.

Dining

Full meal plans are not available for summer housing. A partial meal is available for purchase and listed below. Students participating in the Weiss Summer Research program are provided a summer meal plan free of charge. Many dining locations on campus are open on a limited schedule: Dining Services Summer Hours

50 meal swipes and 100 dining dollars - $500

Additional meal swipes may be purchased in packs of 10

Parking

During the summer, students must park in the upper campus lots only. Student parking is not permitted in other lots or the parking garage. All students on campus during the summer most obtain a summer parking pass from the Department of Public Safety.
