Audio-Visual Services can provide high-quality scans from original material including prints, transparencies, and slides.

For materials too large for the scanner, the A-V department also has a copy stand capable of taking digital photographs.  This has been used for newspapers, manuscripts, and even Russian dolls.

The time to produce a scan depends on the volume and nature of the material and the availability of staff.  Please contact the department for more information.  Training and equipment are also available for members of the campus community to use AV equipment.

Scans can be provided via Google Drive Storage, memory card, or  USB external drive.

It is the responsibility of the person requesting the scan to obtain any necessary rights and clearances to use the material.
