Holy Cross Cares Day

Holy Cross Cares Day

"Help one another.  This is what Jesus teaches us. This is what I do, and I do it with my heart."  ~Pope Francis

Each spring, hundreds of alumni, parents and families put the Holy Cross “mission in motion” by taking part in Holy Cross Cares across the country.

This series of community service volunteer opportunities, a partnership between the Holy Cross Alumni Association and its regional clubs, bring different generations of Crusaders together for a day of local service. In recognition of 150 years of making a difference, the HCAA is expanding the reach of its Holy Cross Cares '20 volunteer effort.

This year's Holy Cross Cares global event is scheduled for Saturday April 18, 2020. Please think about how you and your alumni peers might pitch in that day to help a local organization in need. You could help at a food bank, clean a school yard, work on a blood drive, collect books, or do any number of things that make a difference in your community. Your group can be 3 people or 30, but your reward will be knowing that you helped others on that day.

Want to learn more about serving as a site leader?
We're looking for alumni captains to serve as volunteer site leaders this spring. The time commitment is minimal, but the impact will be huge. If you already have connections at a nonprofit in your area, this opportunity is for you! To learn more about getting involved, please contact Tom Cadigan '02, associate director of Alumni Relations, at either tcadigan@holycross.edu or 508-793-2418.
