Biography

Peter Sulski [Lecturer, viola/violin], has recently returned to the United States with his wife Anita. He is the son of the late Leonard C. Sulski, who was associate professor of mathematics at the College of the Holy Cross from 1966-1991.

Past activities include seven years as a member of the London Symphony Orchestra, four years touring with the Apple Hill Chamber Players and three years on the faculties at the Royal College and Trinity College of Music in London. Prof. Sulski has also had stints as Head of Strings at the National Palestinian Conservatory and as principal violist of the Cyprus State Chamber Orchestra. For two years he was bicommunal chamber music coordinator for the Fulbright Commission in Cyprus, working with Turkish and Greek Cypriots.

To date, Prof. Sulski has recorded fourteen compact discs which will soon be available on his website. He is also recording the Sonatas, Partitas, Suites, and Gamba Sonatas of Bach for Centaur Records. Present activities include teaching positions at Clark University, and Artistic Directorship of the Worcester Chamber Music Society. He is a member of Mistral, the touring group of the Andover Chamber Music Series, and QX, a Boston-based string quartet.
