Eric Culver received his D.M.A. in Instrumental Conducting from Catholic University of America in 1998. Prior to that, Professor Culver received a Masters of Music with Honors in Orchestral Conducting from New England Conservatory of Music. His teachers have included Richard Pittman and Laszlo Halasz for conducting; Francis Judd Cooke and Robert Cogan for composition. He has also studied piano, violin, and voice.

Professor Culver is currently the music director of the Holy Cross Chamber Orchestra (HC20) and lectures in conducting and fundamentals of music.
