Amy Murphy, Director of the Center for Career Development, interprets the career path of LALC graduates in the following terms:  “I think the story here is that LALC graduates go on to do pretty much anything that interests them.  There is a significant number of grads who go on to Teach for America, and a significant number of grads who go on to social justice roles in general […] At any rate, while there is a trend toward a year of service and employment in the education, legal and not-for-profit spaces, there are plenty of students who secure opportunities in insurance, technology and other private-sector areas.  The other story to be told here is that very few LALC graduates have an unknown outcome after commencement.  That, in itself, speaks volumes.”
