Gamma Kappa Alpha

National Italian Honor Society

Gamma Kappa Alpha recognizes the achievements of students who have devoted much of their undergraduate career to the study of Italian language, literature, and culture. Fourth-year Italian majors who have a GPA of 3.0 or above are invited to become members. The Holy Cross chapter of GKA invites exceptional Italian minors (those with a GPA of 3.5 or above) to join the Society. Students who accept the invitation pay a one-time membership fee of $25. At the initiation ceremony in the spring, they receive a certificate and a honor cord to be worn at Commencement exercises.
