Job Shadowing

Job Shadowing is an accessible way for liberal arts students to explore a variety of business careers, make new connections and gain insight into their preferred industry.  This experience can help students find an internship, job, volunteer or fellowship opportunity that aligns with their strengths, skills, interests and values.  

In addition to the Alumni Job Shadowing Program through the Center for Career Development, students should explore their network of alumni and personal contacts for shadowing opportunities.

This is one of six milestone requirements towards a COES Professional Program Certificate of Readiness.

The Alumni Job Shadowing Program through Crusader Connections is open to all class years and is offered during winter and summer breaks.  Students are matched with Holy Cross alumni and spend half to full day shadowing. For more information on how to participate in the Holy Cross Alumni Job Shadowing Program contact the Center for Career Development at

*PLEASE NOTE: Effective for the class of 2021, all student must complete six milestones to earn the Certificate of Readiness. While strongly encouraged to participate in the Job Shadowing milestone, students in the classes of 2020, 2019 and 2018 are not required.
