With recent changes to COVID guidelines, and increased access to the COVID vaccine for all, we are happy to announce some changes to our COVID guidelines while on campus.
We ask that all students planning to be on campus for Summer term please upload your vaccination status by June 1 to your Patient Portal. If you are unable to obtain your vaccination status by June 1st, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your plan.
Students who have not uploaded their vaccination status, or communicated with Heath Services Director Kelsey DeVoe, by June 1 may not be able to move into their residence halls or access campus until they do so. Students planning to be on campus for Fall 2021 please upload your vaccination status by July 15 to your Patient Portal.
We require this information so we can determine the percentage of our population that is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If we reach 80% of our population vaccinated, we can remove distancing requirements. If we reach 90% of our population vaccinated, we can remove masking indoors.
Fully vaccinated students may test once per week, and may be able to move to every other week testing based on our vaccination rate and testing compliance. Unvaccinated students must continue to test twice weekly on non-consecutive days. Fully vaccinated students do not need to quarantine after a COVID exposure or travel. Fully vaccinated students also do not need to submit any pre-arrival testing. (Students arriving from an international location do need to follow CDC and federal travel requirements).
Reminder: The testing center has moved to the 4th floor of Hogan, Monday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
