Passport is an innovative, residential program designed to acclimate first-year students to the challenging academic life of Holy Cross. Each year Admissions invites selected incoming students to participate in Passport. Students who accept our invitation to join Passport are expected to complete all three components of the program.

The program has three components:

  • Summer Passport – Students spend three weeks on campus in August before classes begin.
  • Fall Passport – Students meet regularly with the Passport director, participate in academic workshops, and the Mentor Program for ALANA (African-American, Latin American, Asian-American, Native American), international and Passport students.
  • January Retreat - Two days before the start of the spring semester, students get away to reflect on the fall semester and prepare for the challenges of the spring semester.
