'I Love it Here' 2.02 - Cactus Pete's

Cactus Pete's can be described in one word: fun. The whole place feels like a barn, kind of dark and with boots and fences all over, but it's actually quite inviting. The lighting is a little dim, and it was hard to read the menu, but that's okay. It's casual enough and big enough to go out to eat with lots of friends, and the food on the menu is definitely something we could afford and enjoy.

There are a lot of great appetizers, many of which involve meat, and also some soups. Salads seemed to be lacking, so if you want to have the whole "soup and salad or salad and appetizer make a great light meal" experience, then you might be out of luck. They are all quite tasty, though, and I highly recommend an appetizer or two.

The food is quite good...as long as you like meat. And if you do, then you're in luck. It's very tasty and flavorful. There's plenty to choose from, but there was something that this menu is lacking, and that's vegetarian dishes. I counted only a few, so if you do not eat meat then it might be hard to find something just right. Keep this in mind when considering Cactus Pete’s. The prices are also quite reasonable, perhaps one of the best-priced in all my travels around Worcester.

Cactus Pete's is a fun place, but definitely not the best place I've ever been. Though I did enjoy my meal there, I kept thinking that this place is definitely not for everyone. Make sure everyone in your party likes to eat meat, so that everyone can enjoy their dining experience.
