First Year Students
First Year Students are eligible for positions in Kimball Dining Hall, Kimball Food Court and Crossroads in the Hogan Campus Center. Cashier and office positions are excluded.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY USING THIS GUIDE.
First Year Students are invited to attend the Holy Cross Dining Student Employment Meeting on Sunday, August 31st and have their paperwork processed before they can start work. Job positions are assigned and you will receive training upon your arrival to your first shift.If you have any questions, please call the Student Employment Office in Kimball Hall at x 2702 or e-mail kso@holycross.edu.
We are located in Kimball Hall, 1st Floor, Room 136 (right around the corner from the Kimball Theater.
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors may apply for any position.
Rate of Pay - each position starts at $8.00 with a .25 raise the next year and .10 raise each following year, waitstaff positions excluded.
Bonus - $.60 for every hour worked w/perfect attendance.
Highest paying job on campus!
Please Note: Whether you are a Work-Study Student or Non-Work Study Student, you can apply at anytime of the year with HC Dining.
Kimball Dining

| Qualifications: | Prior experience working in a Cafeteria or Restaurant type establishment would be helpful, but not necessary. Good attitude and people skills a plus! |
| Schedule: | Flexible Hours - Shifts run from 6:45am - 10pm (2 - 4 hours each) |
Kimball Storeroom
| Positions: | Receiving, Shipping and Stocking |
| Qualifications: | Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and push large carts with approximately 3 - 400 pounds. Good attitude and people skills a plus! |
| Schedule: | Flexible Hours - Shifts run from 8am - 4pm (2 - 4 hours each) |
Hogan Catering
| Position: | Wait Staff |
| Qualifications: | Prior experience working in a Restaurant or Banquet Catering type establishment a plus. Interpersonal skills a must. |
| Schedule: | Flexible - availability due to events. |
