Marc Jacobs
Summer Intern
Marc Jacobs is a subsidiary of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy dynasty, and is considered one of the hippest New York City women’s clothiers. Holy Cross alumna Carolyn Risoli '86 is president of the company and has established an internship for a Holy Cross student.
The intern would be assigned to one of Marc Jacobs' managers, most likely in accessory production, and will gain exposure to many areas of the company including sales, design, merchandising, production, etc.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist in setting up line sheets for market
- Update production tracking charts
- File and create notebooks
- Proofread purchase orders
- Check in returned purchase orders
- Process and file invoices
- Assist and proofread style master
- Assign National Retail Federation color codes
- Order and follow up on hangtags
- Sort chargebacks by factory and create chargeback cover sheets
- Ship and receive packages
- Check in and pass press samples to sales team.
- Work at the sample sale
- Create tracking charts for the new season
- Attend weekly team meetings and meetings with factories

Qualifications: Class of 2009 or 2010. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply.
Compensation: The selected intern will receive a stipend to cover their living and travel expenses for the 10-week summer internship.
