Actuarial Internship Program

Hartford Life's actuarial internship program provides a variety of valuable opportunities for college students pursuing an actuarial career. Interns are placed in business divisions throughout the company, where they receive one-on-one attention from full-time actuarial employees.
 
Events such as the weekly Speaker Series, Networking Lunches, and Actuarial Forums help students learn about the different aspects of Hartford Life and provide opportunities for them to meet
successful actuaries like Tom Marra, Hartford Life's president and chief operating officer. Throughout the summer, programs are available to teach interns essential computer and communication skills. Outside of work, social events provide ample time for interns and full-time actuaries to interact as a community.
 
Location: Simsbury, CT (15 miles from Hartford - subsidized housing is provided)
 
Qualifications:  Class of 2009.  Math or economics major or minor.  Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
