Summer Intern
Position Overview: Opus Investment Management, a division of The Hanover Insurance Group, is seeking individuals who would be interested in completing an internship within our investment management services area.
Opus employs a broad range of investment strategies, including total return management, asset/liability management, yield enhancement and tax-advantaged investing.
This internship would provide exposure within one or all of the following areas:
- Portfolio Management
- Trading
- Research
Additionally, project work is an essential component of this role. Typical projects would include, but not limited to:
- Credit Research-sector analytics
- Design of portfolio overview package for monthly strategy
- Design of quarterly investment outlook summary
- Product Research
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who is interested in a career path in investment management and will provide an opportunity to work with a team of Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts that represents a wealth of insurance industry experience acquired over a number of different market cycles.

Prior Intern: Mark Hanoian '09 (Corporate Development & Strategy)
Location: Worcester, MA
Qualifications: Class of 2010 or 2011. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply for this internship.
- 3.50 GPA or higher
- Proficiency with MS Office Programs
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and Cap IQ preferred
