Corporate Development & Strategy Intern
The Hanover Insurance Group is a $3b World Class "Super Regional" insurer that, following a successful revitalization by new management begun in 2003, is committed to aggressively accumulating world-class talent in order to consolidate within our large but fragmented industry.
With an active pipeline of additional tactical and strategic opportunities to grow our business, we are eager to add top talent to our Corporate Development team. This is an opportunity for an exceptional Junior to leverage and develop their financial analysis, modeling and strategic research skills for a small but growing firm committed to acquisitions as a core strategy. This role will give a student an opportunity to work with industry-leading executives and will directly impact our firm's success.

Key Responsibilities / Projects
- Industry & competitor assessments
- Strategy research & development
- Financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Investment evaluation and presentation development
Location: Worcester, MA
Qualifications: Class of 2009. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply for this internship.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong analytical and business assessment skills
- Strong ability to utilize Excel to conduct financial modeling
- Demonstrable interest in finance and/or investing
- Strong awareness of current competitive intelligence and monitoring of financial press
- Top grades & SATs
- Need to be comfortable working a part of a high-performing, high-energy team.
