Human Capital Management Summer Analyst

Human Capital Management plays a critical role in managing the firm's most important asset, our people.

Teams serve the firm globally from locations in the Americas, Europe, India and Asia, and are responsible for a broad range of activities, including:

Our HCM teams include:

  • Generalists
    Human Capital Management teams work closely with divisional leadership to address on-going and strategic business issues. Each division within the firm has its own dedicated Human Capital Management team to address the needs of a particular client group.
  • Employee Relations
    The Employee Relations team acts as the internal consulting group to all levels of employees and management on a broad range of issues. This group ensures that our business principles are upheld and act as a conduit to conflict resolution.
  • Global Leadership and Diversity
    The Global Leadership and Diversity (GLD) team helps drive our objective to attract and retain the best and most diverse talent from all of the communities and cultures in which we do business. The team plays a critical role in helping us meet this objective through leadership, commitment, and accountability at all levels.
  • HCM Finance
    The Human Capital Management Finance team helps the division to operate in a financially efficient way and provides expert financial advice to managers and project teams.
  • HCM Strategy and Management
    The Human Capital Management Strategy and Management team focuses on needs within the division, including performance reviews, mobility assignments, recruiting and training.
  • Pine Street and Goldman Sachs University
    The Pine Street and Goldman Sachs University groups develop and execute solutions to address key organizational, cultural and people development issues that impact our businesses. Committed to helping our people develop personally and professionally, we offer a range of growth and development opportunities to all of our employees at every stage of their careers.
  • Recruitment
    Graduate Recruitment  helps devise and execute the firm's entry level recruiting strategy, including building and maintaining relationships, marketing the firm to selected universities, facilitating the candidate offer and on campus acceptance process, and executing summer internship programs.
    Diversity Recruitment facilitates our aim to recruit a diverse group of talented individuals who reflect the communities and cultures in which we operate.
    Experienced Hire Recruitment partners with our internal clients to identify and attract experienced professionals to the firm, as well as managing opportunities for internal mobility.
  • Reward
    Benefits - designs, implements, and administers competitive and leading edge benefit programs that match the firm's philosophy and strategy.
    Compensation, Employee Special Investments and Equity Compensation drives the development and implementation of our compensation philosophy, policies, and practices around the world.
    Global Mobility Services designs and administers the firm's expatriate and relocation programs through teams based in New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
    Wellness is a global initiative that supports healthy lifestyles at Goldman Sachs through our Wellness Exchange.
  • Service Delivery Operations
    The Service Delivery Operations team is responsible for delivering operational excellence and high quality customer service that pertains to Human Capital Management’s core practices. Team priorities include:
    * Implementing leading edge technologies to optimize process efficiency
    * Ensuring that all Human Capital Management data is compliant with internal and external legal, regulatory and compliance equirements
    * Delivering best in class HR practices globally
  • Talent Assessment Group
    The Talent Assessment Group measures employee satisfaction, engagement, and commitment through survey work, and by partnering with managers to develop their people through the firm's comprehensive performance review and feedback processes. The group also conducts data analyses to provide divisional Human Capital Management colleagues with strategic advice to drive change and to help people develop and succeed at all levels of the firm.

Qualifications:  Class of 2010.  You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply.  Minimum GPA 3.4.
