Assistant to the President
Primary responsibilities: Research and identify areas for expansion. Work with the maintenance of the company's website including developing ways in which to make it more user friendly. Work with the President and Chief Financial Officer on carious projects.
General Insulation Company is a distributor of commercial and industrial insulations, HVAC, fire protection products, gaskets, tapes and other accessories for the mechanical contractor and plumbing supply house. GIC has twenty-two branch locations throughout the United States with branches in the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, San Francisco and Chicago. General Insulation Company services the insulation contractors, sheet metal contractors, utility and petro-chemical plants, other industrial producers, OEM’s and plumbing supply houses. Salary: $12-14 per hour
Qualifications: Class of 2009 or 2010. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply.
The candidate must be computer literate, have a strong desire to work and learn, the ability to work with others in a small office environment and strong communication skills.
