Financial Management Program Internship

Summary:  The Financial Management Program Internship is a project-oriented work assignment designed to offer hands-on finance experience in the GE Finance Team. The assignment is designed to expose the intern to GE strategic initiatives and the role Finance plays in achieving the business' objectives. The Internship could lead to placement in GE's Financial Management Program upon graduation.
 
Position Description:  Position Description:  Internships vary in scope. Most assignments are 10-12 weeks in length providing exposure to areas such as financial analysis, general accounting, project analysis, manufacturing accounting or auditing. The assignment provides an opportunity to have a real impact on business issues. Interns are challenged to help develop innovative solutions to respond to dynamic business conditions.

Locations: Various U.S. locations primarily in the Northeast and Midwest. Housing IS provided.

Qualifications:  Class of 2010 & 2011.  Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.  Must be willing to relocate.  In person interviews are required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, proven leadership experience, strong analytical and communication skills, change orientation, demonstrated integrity, and team player orientation.
