Financial Management Program Internship

Summary:  FMP is a highly competitive development program for candidates seeking a finance career with GE.  The summer internship feeds into the 2 year FMP program which consists of 6-month rotational assignments combined with formal classroom training in finance, accounting, business and leadership development.  Graduates of FMP form the talent pool from which future GE finance and business leaders will emerge.

Position Description:  Candidates join FMP and are assigned to one of the various GE businesses.  Each internship focuses on the development of key financial skills that may include: financial planning and analysis, general accounting, operations analysis, cash management, etc. to build the foundation for a career in finance within GE.  At the same time, participants strengthen their technical, business and leadership skills.

Location: Various U.S. locations primarily in the Northeast and Midwest. Housing IS provided.

Qualifications:
Class of 2009 or 2010.  Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 required.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, proven leadership experience, strong analytical and communication skills, change orientation, demonstrated integrity, and team player orientation.  In-person interviews are required.
