Investment Management Internship

FactSet is currently seeking candidates for a twelve week paid Internship Program in our Boston office. The program typically runs from Mid-May to Mid-August. The internship is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning about the investment processes for the world's largest investment banks.
 
Portfolio managers and analysts depend on timely, accurate research information to help with critical investment decisions.  FactSet's online services provide clients with access to a comprehensive array of financial data and analytical tools as well as customizable applications that can transform data into powerful decision-making intelligence.
 
Consultants are the essential link between the investment professional and FactSet's powerful software. The FactSet software is challenging and complex, so clients continually need the expertise provided by these knowledgeable men and women.
 
Once you finish our comprehensive two-week training program, you will be required to demonstrate an understanding of our investment management products, as well as a strong knowledge of finance and technology.
 
Investment Management (IM) Internship
  • Create custom analytical models for clients
  • Learn FactSet's proprietary coding language, which enables you to create templates that can download custom data sets
  • Learn to Automate frequently-used models for individual clients to streamline their investment process
  • Train analysts and equity research associates how to use FactSet's software.

Required Qualifications:
  • Class of 2008
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with ¡V or an interest in learning about ¡V financial markets
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Strong interest in computers and technology

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Background in finance
