Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Business Management Intern

Description:  Enterprise offers an internship in Business Management where interns enjoy extensive on-the-job training as well as classroom-style training.  Our internship program is available during the summer and/or the school year and it is designed to teach the entrepreneurial skills necessary to run a small business.  The hands-on training program will expose employees to customer service strategies, sales and marketing planning, accounting, business administration, and employee development.  Since our primary goal is 100% customer satisfaction, our interns focus on making our clients' transitions from their own vehicles into the rental cars hassle free, as well as help implement new ideas to continually improve the service we provide to our customers.  Interns are trained to sell various services to our clients to complete the rental package.  In addition, interns assist in developing and implementing specific marketing plans for each of our referral sources, such as insurance agents, automobile dealerships, and repair facilities, in order to maintain and increase our market share.  Interns will also be exposed to administrative functions such as cash flow, billing and accounts receivable.  By putting all of these pieces together, interns learn how to manage all the resources of the branch that are crucial to its success.

Our internship program mirrors our full-time Management Training Program, so as an intern you will be learning alongside our full-time Management Trainees.  Then, if you choose to make a career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company upon graduation, the time you spend as an intern will be applied toward the 12-month Management Training Program, resulting in faster career advancement.  We offer a generous compensation package which includes a competitive hourly wage and scholarship opportunity.  In addition, we offer a flexible 35-40 hour work week with overtime available if desired.  We have opportunities all over the country so we can help place you in a branch close to school or home.
