Championship Internship Overview
The Deutsche Bank Championship is one of the four PGA TOUR Playoff events for the FedExC Cup. Held at the Tournament Players Club Boston in Norton, MA over Labor Day Weekend (September 1st - 7th), the Deutsche Bank Championship is in its 7th year and has become one of the marquee events on the PGA Tour schedule. Defending Champions include Vijay Singh, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Adam Scott.
Internship Information
The internship works directly with the Championship Staff in all preparations for the Championship. There are internship positions available in Sales & Marketing, Volunteer Coordination, Charity Support, Operations and Ticketing & Credentialing. The attached information packet contains specific responsibilities and job descriptions for each position.
Dates: The internship program runs from June 1 through September 11.
Location: Norton, MA
These internships are unpaid.
Qualifications: Class of 2010.
Must be a team player, exude an excitement for learning and have a "will do" Attitude.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office including Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint. Must be knowledgeable with the Internet and worldwide web.

Candidates will be notified in February on whether they have been selected for an interview. All interviews will take place in march in Norton, MA or via the telephone for those unable to attend in person. Final decisions will be made in April.
