Advertising Intern
The Cosmopolitan Advertising Department is seeking an energetic intern who has a strong desire to learn about the publishing side of the magazine business. The internship is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain firsthand experience in the Advertising & Marketing Department of a major publication. (Note: Our department is responsible for selling all the gorgeous ads you see in Cosmo)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Competitive research projects
- Comp. list maintenance
- Assisting with departmental mailings
- Providing general administrative support for Ad Reps and Coordinators
Location: New York, NY
Qualifications: Class of 2011. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply.
- Proficient in Excel, Word & Powerpoint
- Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Enthusiastic about learning and working in the publishing industry
