Summer Intern
The Churchill School and Center, the premier K-12 school for children with learning disabilities in New York City, seeks a summer intern to work in its Development office. This person will assist the Development Director and Associate in closing the school’s 2007-08 annual fund appeal ($1.75M goal) and the $8M Phase 1 of an endowment campaign raising funds for teacher compensation and professional development (both conclude June 30, 2008). Other responsibilities include alumni relations and outreach and marketing and communications efforts. This is an excellent learning opportunity for someone who is interested in first-hand development experience in the independent school world.

Location: New York, NY
Qualifications: Class of 2009 or 2010. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply for this internship.
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, self-motivated critical thinker and team player. The position requires proficient communication (oral and written), research (including data prospects mining), creativity, and computer skills.
