A Haven for Brides

Marketing Intern

A Haven for Brides provides event planning and design knowing that each unique couple has a dream vision for their day.  Our goal is to ensure each couple enjoys their day without worry or stress, while bringing to life their style and personality within the design.   HFB offers wedding planning and design, including such services as vendor research and selection assistance, event budgeting, style and theme coordination, and stationary design.  Consulting is available to brides from full service packages to individual service consultations. It is our goal to begin offering weekend seminars for "Brides Under a Budget" beginning mid to late 2009.

Responsibilities:

Interns will assist in all aspects of the business from marketing research, marketing material design and production, bridal show booth preparation and show sales, wedding planning and design, preferred vendor research, and stationary design and publication.

  • Fielding questions and calls from potential and current clients
  • Creating event "storyboards" combining color, texture and theme
  • Event design including centerpiece, placesetting, and lighting proposals
  • Print and prepare wedding stationary including menu cards, place cards, and programs
