Summer Intern
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications:
• Assist in follow up and implementation of Alumni Plan currently being developed by graduate school team
• Assist with developing press releases
• Assist in keeping media book and organizing other marketing binders
Development & Events:
• Grants
o Research local and national foundations
o Assist with grant application preparation
• Events-
o Assist in recruitment of cyclists for upcoming fundraiser, "The Rodman Ride for Kids"
o Manage communication with all event participants
o Research and solicit corporate sponsors for event
o Assist in production of all marketing resources for event
o Assist with database tracking and gift acknowledgments for the event
o Assist in all follow-up and correspondence surrounding spring auction fundraiser

Qualifications: Class of 2009 or 2010. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply for this internship.
Creative, self-starter (able to work independently), self-confident, flexible, strong communication skills, ability to get along with diverse groups, knowledge of Microsoft computer applications.

This is a Lilly Foundation funded internship. It carries a stipend and the intern must participate in a reflection activity at the beginning and the end of the internship and as well as a couple of short written reflections over the course of the summer.
