What you’ll do: As an industry or product group summer analyst within Capital Markets, you’ll help orchestrate capital raising and strategic advisory transactions by:
- Developing and maintaining financial models
- Supporting various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
- Performing comprehensive and in–depth company and industry research
- Preparing presentation and other materials for clients
- Participating in due diligence sessions
- Communicating and interacting with deal team members and clients
Training: The summer program begins with an orientation session. You’ll learn technical skills, our views on the markets and professional practices that will enrich your summer experience. You’ll also participate in presentations as well as other group and individual projects led by industry experts.
Locations: New York, Charlotte, Chicago, Los Angeles and Houston. Offers are made for a specific office based on candidate preference and business need.

Qualifications: Class of 2009. Minimum GPA 3.25. You must be admitted to the Summer Internship Program to apply for this internship.
Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, strategic and creative thinking, and distinguished written and oral communications skills. Summer analysts are required to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Some common driving characteristics we look for:
