Holy Cross Community to Drop Off 1,600 Books to Vernon Hill Elementary

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross students, faculty and staff have provided more than 1,600 new and used books for students in grades K-8 that will be donated to Vernon Hill Elementary School.

The books will be dropped off at the library at Vernon Hill, 211 Providence St., on March 28 at 11 a.m.

The book drive was organized by Carlie Geiger ’08, from Bath, Maine, and Rachel Stearns ’10, Holden, Maine, who participate in Student Program for Urban Development, a community service organization sponsored by the Chaplains’ Office.
