April Music Events at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – There will be a number of musical events during the month of April at Holy Cross. All concerts are free and open to the public.

The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, April 4, at 8 p.m.- The Holy Cross Jazz Ensemble will perform a concert in the Ballroom of the Hogan Campus Center.

Tuesday, April 17, at 8 p.m. - Simon Preston will perform an organ concert in the St. Joseph Memorial Chapel.

Thursday, April 19, at 8 p.m. - The Holy Cross Chamber Orchestra will perform a concert in the Brooks Concert Hall.

Friday, April 20, at 8 p.m. - World-renowned artist Desak Made Suarti Laksmi will direct a gamelan "Gita Sari" concert of Balinese music and dance in the Brooks Concert Hall.

Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. - Senior music majors Tanya Pereira and KeriAnne Travis will give their senior voice recitals in the Brooks Concert Hall.

Tuesday, April 24, at 8 p.m. - Emma Tahmiziàn will perform a piano concert, "The Evolving Sonata II," in the Brooks Concert Hall. Presented by the Holy Cross Chamber Players.

Friday, April 27, at 8 p.m. - The Holy Cross College Choir will perform a concert, featuring Mozart's "Requiem," in the St. Joseph Memorial Chapel.

Sunday, April 29, at 3 p.m. - Matthew Dirst will perform an organ concert in the St. Joseph Memorial Chapel.
