"Staying Afloat"

Lecture by Four-Time Deaflympic Swim Competitor Greg Reese

Four-time Deaflympic swim competitor and multiple medal winner Greg Reese will give a lecture titled "Staying Afloat," in Room 304 of the Hogan Campus Center on Thursday, March 4 at 7 p.m. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be presented in ASL with an English interpreter.

Reese participated in the Deaflympic games in New Zealand, Bulgaria, Denmark and Italy. He set world records in both relay and individual events. An instructor at the American School for the Deaf, Reese will be a coach at Holy Cross’ DEAFinitely Swim Program this year.

The DEAFinitely Swim program features swimming lessons for deaf and hard of hearing children and their siblings. Lessons will be offered on Sunday afternoons from 12 – 2 p.m. in the Hart Center pool. The program begins on Sunday, March 21 and runs until Sunday, May 2. Registration forms will be available at Reese’s lecture.
