Opening Night Performance of Holy Cross' "Cyrano de Bergerac" to Benefit Burncoat "SOFA" Program

The Holy Cross theatre department will stage its opening night performance of "Cyrano de Bergerac" on Thursday, March 27 at 8 p.m. in Fenwick Theatre to benefit the "Save Our Fine Arts" (SOFA) program at Burncoat Middle and High Schools.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for members of the Holy Cross community. They can be obtained by calling the box office at (508) 793-2496. All of the proceeds from the evening will go to "SOFA."

In Edmond Rostand's epic romantic adventure, set in France during the reign of Louis XIII, swordplay and wordplay hold equal force. Cyrano de Bergerac is a gallant soldier, a brilliant wit, and a tragic poet-lover with the nose of a clown. Mike Baron of the theatre department directs a rare revival of this classic play.

The College of the Holy Cross is the higher education partner for schools in the Burncoat quadrant. Please join the entire Holy Cross community in supporting the theatre, dance, visual arts and music programs at Burncoat Middle and High Schools.

Fenwick Theatre is not handicapped accessible.
