Football Team Claims 2009 Patriot League Title

Senior quarterback Dominic Randolph (Amelia, Ohio) accounted for 358 yards of total offense and three touchdowns, to lead the 13th-ranked Holy Cross football team to a 28-26 victory over No. 20 Lafayette at Fitton Field. With the victory, the Crusaders claimed at least a share of the Patriot League championship, and earned the conference’s automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA football championship subdivision playoffs. more>>

 

Fr. Arrupe Statue Dedicated in Smith Labs Courtyard

On Nov. 7, about 30 alumni and friends gathered in the stone courtyard outside Smith Labs, part of the new Integrated Science Complex. In the brisk shade of a clear autumn day, they gathered to honor Fr. Pedro Arrupe as the new bronze statue of the beloved and admired Superior General of the Society of Jesus was dedicated. more>>

 

Holy Cross Ranks No. 8 in Kiplinger’s List of Best Values in Private Colleges

The College of the Holy Cross moves up five spots to No. 8 among Best Values in Private Liberal Arts Colleges that combine “excellent academics while keeping costs to a minimum,” according to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance.  more>>
