Towing Information

Chapter 266, section 120D of the General Laws of Massachusetts gives the College authority to have vehicles towed off campus. The owner of the vehicle or the person whose name the vehicle is registered under at the College is responsible for the towing and storage charges, which are to be paid directly to the towing company.

Vehicles are subject to being towed for:

  1. Excessive parking violations(6) or more
  2. Parked in front of a fire gate(whether open or closed)
  3. Parked within 10 feet of a fire hydrant
  4. Obstructing the flow of traffic
  5. Hindering snow removal
  6. Abandoned vehicles
  7. Parked in loading zone or oil delivery zone
  8. Parked in student lots without valid parking permit
  9. Parked in a "Reserved" or "Handicap" parking space without proper authority
  10. Failure to display current parking decal


Any situation that is deemed necessary to maintain orderly parking and traffic flow.

Tow List - Any vehicle with a valid parking decal that receives six (6) or more violations in an academic year will be placed on the TOW LIST. The vehicle will be removed from campus at the owner's expense and parking privileges will be revoked for the remainder of the academic year. Any vehicle parked in the student lots, without a valid parking decal will be towed at the owner's expense and placed on the tow list.
