Registration/Parking Decals
All motor vehicles operated on campus by faculty, staff, administrators and students (resident and off-campus) must display a current valid parking decal or temporary pass. First- and second-year students are not allowed to have vehicles on campus.
- Students (resident and off-campus) must obtain a parking permit in the Public Safety Office, O'Kane 5, no later than September 15, 2006. Students with a vehicle registered in another state must complete a Non-Resident Vehicle Information Form. Failure to complete the form could subject you to a fine of up to $250.00 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Faculty and staff must obtain a parking permit which is valid for three years in the Public Safety Office, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- When applying for a parking decal you must produce a valid Holy Cross ID and a valid registration certificate for the vehicle you are registering.
- Guests of students must register their vehicle with Public Safety if they are staying overnight and must obtain a temporary pass for their vehicle. A valid registration certificate must be produced at the time the temporary pass is obtained. There is no charge for the pass. All guest vehicles must park in the student lots. The sponsor of the guest is responsible for any violations of the parking regulations.
Fees
- Resident Students: $150.00 per academic year
- Off-Campus/ Commuting Students: $100.00 per academic year
- Off-Campus Students (24 hour parking): $350.00 per academic year
The parking decal must be permanently placed on the side window (left side), if your vehicle has tinted windows, place the decal on the lower left side of the front windshield.
Public Safety must be notified when a replacement vehicle is brought to campus. A temporary pass will be provided, at no cost, for the duration that the vehicle is on campus.
