The Laser Safety Plan has been developed to provide guidance for the safe use of lasers and laser systems. The Plan is based on the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard for safe use of lasers. Class 3 and 4 lasers have been registered with the State as required. College employees are responsible for observing the provisions of the Laser Safety Plan and for reporting unsafe conditions to their immediate supervisors. Copies of the Laser Safety Plan is available to all College laboratory employees and students.
