It is easier to graduate engaged alumni than to try and develop them once they leave. In a related way, building connections with recent graduates can lead to a lifetime of engagement. This panel discussion will explore issues and provide ideas for programming that targets current students and recent graduates.
Revitalizing Your Regional Programming

Regional clubs/chapters are often the foundation of an alumni relations program and can play an important role in engaging alumni. Our panelists represent regional club programs at various stages - from newly organized to highly structured - and will share their successes and challenges in providing programs and services. This session will also touch on trends in regional club programming and will provide participants with some new ideas to bring back to their institutions.

As Jesuit, Catholic institutions of higher education, AJCU alumni associations have a special role to play in engaging graduates in spirituality and service events. With this critical need to provide life-long formation opportunities for Jesuit-educated alumni, this workshop will offer best practices from across several institutions. We will discuss the successes and challenges of collaborating with collegiate partners, developing local and domestic outreach opportunities, and creating marketing strategies which target wide audiences.
