Applying for a Position

Professional (Exempt)

Human Resources maintains a listing of all available positions which is updated regularly. The College accepts resumes for available positions. In addition to a resume, please include a cover letter expressing your interest in a specific position and the names and telephone numbers of three professional references. Diversity is an important College value. In your cover letter, please address your experience working in a diverse environment and your commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Human Resources will schedule interviews for candidates selected by the hiring department. All finalists for exempt positions will be notified of the final disposition of the search once the position has been filled.

Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Human Resources maintains a listing of all available positions which is updated regularly. To apply for a position, applicants may come to Human Resources and complete an application for employment. If a representative is available, applicants will also meet with a member of Human Resources to discuss their qualifications and appropriate available positions.

Applications of those candidates whose credentials most closely meet the needs of the department will be referred to the hiring department for consideration. Human Resources will schedule interviews for candidates who are selected by the department.

Student Employment

Summer Student Employment

Students of the college who live locally or are planning to stay in the area for the summer and are interested in employment opportunities at the college are encouraged to stop by Human Resources and complete an employment application and meet with a representative of Human Resources to discuss the positions that will be available.
