Awards Ceremony

The presentation of the Presidential Service Awards by President Michael C. McFarland, S.J., assisted by the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Jacqueline D. Peterson, and Senior Academic Awards and Prizes by Victoria Swigert, 2008 Class Dean.
Baccalaureate Mass
3:00 PM, Hart Lawn
(Rain Location: Hart Center)
Led by Fr. McFarland, this liturgy of thanksgiving is open to all seniors, their families and their guests. There is no limit to the number of people who may attend the Baccalaureate Mass.
Baccalaureate Ball
9:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Kimball Dining Hall
Enjoy a magical night filled with music and dancing! This semi-formal evening for graduates and their parents will include hors d'oeuvres, crudités and delightful desserts.
This is a ticketed event.. Information was also be mailed to each graduate's home.

NROTC Commissioning
8:00 AM - 9:30 AM, Hogan Campus Center Ballroom
This traditional ceremony awards commissions in the United States Navy and Marine Corps to men and women graduating through the NROTC program at the College of the Holy Cross.
(NOTE: Holy Cross students awarded commissions in the United States Army and Air Force participate in the ROTC Commissioning Ceremony at Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Saturday, May 17,2008, 8:30 a.m., in the Alden Memorial.)
Commencement Exercises
10:30 AM, Fitton Field
(Rain Location: Hart Center Basketball Arena)
Please note: If ceremonies are inside, there is a 5 ticket maximum per graduate. Additional family members can view ceremonies live in the hockey arena at the Hart Center via closed-circuit broadcast.
