Summer Business Program
The Summer Business Program is a four-week immersion in the art and science of business and entrepreneurship, designed to enhance the careers of Holy Cross students.
The program’s curriculum — combining individualized instruction with team projects directed by some of the nation’s most successful business leaders — recognizes the importance of business to society and the greater good. The lessons of running and launching a business, research and analysis, marketing, and financial accounting are all presented and put into practice through real-world problem-solving. Plus, through the experiences of alumni executives, the program offers a window into how moral values and ethical practices can co-exist with business success.
Students work directly with Holy Cross alumni who are at the top of their business careers, proven leaders and innovators in a wide range of fields. These men and women have first-hand experience with combining their undergraduate liberal arts training with real world business and corporate life.
After four weeks studying with professors and skilled executives, students will leave with new perspectives, enhanced marketability and preparedness — and a distinctive edge in the competitive and increasingly complex job market.
The Holy Cross Summer Business Program focuses on four key areas of inquiry:
- Understanding business
- Business skills
- Leadership development
- Entrepreneurship
