Information for Alumni

The Executive Leadership Workshop is a five-day workshop that takes place during Spring Break in March. A dedicated group of alumni currently serves as workshop instructors; yet COES always welcomes alumni with new experiences and perspectives. The workshop curriculum is organized as follows:

Day 1: Starting a company
Day 2: Taking a startup to the next level
Day 3: Corporate management: What can go wrong, and how to fix it?
Day 4: Sustaining the momentum of a global enterprise
Day 5: Student team presentations to an executive panel

Alumni interested in participating on Days 1 through 4 are expected to be available from 9 a.m. to around 5 p.m. Each day’s content should be a mixture of lecture, hands-on student team projects, and student team presentations for alumni feedback. On Day 5, student teams play the role of startup companies pitching their products or services to a venture capital panel in hopes of obtaining funding. The executives in Day 5 play the role of this venture capital panel.

If you are interested in participating and would like to discuss your ideas, contact Professor David Chu, director of Entrepreneurial Studies, at 508-793-2206 or dchu@holycross.edu.
