Course Offerings

Each semester the English Department offers some 25 upper-level division courses. These include courses organized by theme, genre, author, and historical period; courses in theory, poetics, and hermeneutics; creative writing courses; expository writing courses; as well as interdisciplinary courses in Women's Studies, African American Studies, and Literature and Philosophy.
