Creating a Faculty Website Workshop
The purpose of this workshop is to help faculty understand basic web-design concepts so that they can create (or update) a professional website that showcases their teaching and research. Participants will be taught how to use Dreamweaver web-editing software with the Holy Cross web templates to design a website. Then, they will be trained to use Adobe Photoshop Elements for capturing and editing images that they want to incorporate into their web pages. Finally, they will learn the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) process so that their newly designed sites can be published to the Holy Cross web server.
